True story - I work with a guy who used to be big in the film industry (oh, how he has fallen now) and still gets lots of films to award. He even has a special dvd player

Valkyrie – A good, entertaining historical thriller. It has a strong cast and is a piece of WW2 history worth watching.

Watched Avatar which I thought was everything it was hyped to be. Not overly keen on the story, but then again, the tech and 'graphics' more than make up for anything that was lacking.

I agree with that, I wasn't terrifically impressed with the first 15 mins or so but as the film went on it just seemed to get better and better.

I think it was just the whole documentary type thing, perhaps boring was a bad choice of wording, but it did seem to drag a bit. But like i said earlier, once it gets going its a really great film.

I enjoyed this film so much that I think I may watch it again... It probably has a lot to do with the fact that we see so much of Brad and Angelina, the two most attractive people in existence. But for whatever reason, I had such a good time watching this film and rate it 8.89/10.

Banlieue 13 Ultimatum, in glorious HD! Good fun, but needed more parkour. The mild homosexual subtext was quite intriguing.

I did indeed. I just reinstalled PowerDVD and the patches and the Blu-rays that didn't work before did. :confused:

Its a bit of a marmite film, i really enjoyed it but a few of my mates werent that impressed, ill try uninstalling/reinstalling pdvd to see if it helps with my dvd issues, blu ray is playing fine though.

Watched both Lesbian Vampire Killers and RocknRolla on BluRay last night

Love both films, really into my Gavin & Stacy at the mo hence why I watched LVK again and just fancied watching RocknRolla

Anyone know when The Real RocknRolla is due out? This year?
