What film did you watch last night?

Please explain to me to me how the start is 'boring' / slow ? IMO it's anything but.

Hmm. It has a very fast start, it has a lot of information to give you to help set the scence.

I personally felt the start was the weakest part of the film, and didn't really enjoy the mocumenatry style at the very start, having said that I wouldn't say it affected the film in a negative way.

It's still a stand out film.

Duncan Jones did a fantastic job directing the film and Sam Rockwell was amazing but I found the actual story quite dull. I think it would've made a far better book.

Watched Pandorum last night and loved it. But I am a bit fan of the genre. I thought the story and concept was pretty good, and there's a couple of nice twists (easy to predict ones mind!) towards the end. Felt it could have done with a lot less action and much more of the close quarters tenseness of the opening 20 minutes or so.

Its hella dark though, you really need a Kuro to watch it without tearing your hair out and trying to justify upgrades to your home theater!

Run out of stuff to watch tonight, not even any particular genre I fancy just something new :(.

I am so sad. Spending that extra expense on a terrible film. \o/

(Transformers: ROTF Imax edition)

Still, the interpersed 16:9 footage is incredible and really does give a new 'perspective' on the action sequences.

In the Loop. Screamingly hilarious and brilliantly sharp; my wife and I were doubled up in fits of laughter! 10/10.

Watched "Requiem For A Dream."
Quite a good idea that lost its way once it hit the tv show "dream sequence"

The cinematography was nothing short of fantastic, the music accompanied it really well and it all pretty much gelled together...until it tripped over its own laces with the whacked out stuff, after that it just became too "far out".

Aye, it's good but not brilliant. Give The Fountain a watch if you fancy it. It'll make your brain hurt the first time you watch it though, but it's pretty good on a re-viewing.

The Full Monty – British films at their best, blimey what a cracker. It’s just wonderful comedy, I don’t have to say any more. :)

Flapping willies not do it for you then?

Ha ha...... not really.

tbh, I've quite liked SBC creations in the past, but personally - not in movies.

Ali G movie - below average. Borat - average. Bruno - easily the worst of the 3.

Whiteout was abit meh from the still stunning kate beckinsdale there was also a few plot holes and some dodgey cgi in places it was an average film at best.
