Hard-Boiled
Cop action flick from 1992. Good for its age, decent director etc and decent action from the main crew. Quality bad guy thrown in.
Most liked the action scenes with the bikes and shotguns. Some slow parts and possibly unnecessary slowmo scenes in places.

Ya I just got access to Netflix account man theres so many films and random categories I don't even know where to start...but foreign films are usually good so I clicked on that~!

I just did it and now have access to US netflix without having to use the crappy VPN I was using previously.
US netflix has a much better catalogue.

It's a way to fool the server thinking you are in the US so you get US catalogue of films. Without the need of unblock US or using proxy or VPN. Very simple and handy.
Although it also means your BBC iPlayer/News won't work unless you disable it. Not a biggie as it is only 1 click away.

Just watched A Life Less Ordinary for the first time in years. It starts better than it finishes. It's very chaotic and hectic, which works really well until about 2/3 of the way through when the pacing falls over completely. Cameron Diaz and Ewan McGregor are really good together, and Ewan is really funny at being hopeless. Holly Hunter is mental but seriously fit in that skirt and boots.
It's a good film, but it's not great.

A fairly average film. As a film with nothing to do with Bond, it would have been OK. As a Bond film, it sucked. Casino Royale was hugely better. Not a fan of the Bourne style used in CR and QoS, but CR had a lot of other things going for it. It was fun, QoS isn't.

All three are awesome comedies, with the same kind of dark humour. I can see why people may be put off by these at first, but they're all very rewarding films.

Was expecting this to be pretty dire to be honest but it was pretty good actually. Very slow in places and the missus kept on pointing out that 'this isnt in the book' every 5 mins. Special effects in places were also pretty ropey, dont even get me started on the bloody feet.
Fun all the same. 7 -10
