What film did you watch last night?

Watched the Wolfman and The Lovely Bones tonight - yep, 2 trips to the Cinema on a work night! Man I'm tired now

Both films were alright at best, at least Wolfman scared the crap out of my wife, that kept me amused.

I've only ever heard of the Matrix you must be confused *Loads Shotgun and aims at Simulatorman* there WERE & WILL NEVER BE ANY SEQUALS!

I quite liked all three films, would quite like them to make another series of films though they could not be released as "The Wachowski Brothers" anymore ......

Watched 500 days of Summer with the missus, didn't think much of it but it's nice to see the kid from 3rd rock getting work as an adult.
Then we watched Death of a ghosthunter and even though the acting was really bad the movie was actually good - apart from the dumb ending.

That the Will Ferrell ice skating one? If so, I utterly agree. Bought the DVD cheap from Morrisons expecting it to be good, with Will Ferrell in it, and it was awful!

Indeed, definitely one of his more disappointing films, but it's much better if you are familiar with professional ice-skating (apparently). I guess Zoolander had more universal appeal with its subject matter.

I finally got round to watching Mulholland Drive last night. I knew it was going to be heavy but daaaamn, while watching it was I was so damn confused. Until the end anyway and then it all sort of fell into place.

Some spoilers I s'pose from here.

At the start where Naomi Watts' character is just being introduced I was like "ok this seems a little... odd... she's overly naive and FAR too happy". I guess that was what they were going for. And then when she finally opened the "blue box" for about 5 minutes afterwards I was so damn confused.

Anywho, very good film; very clever and bizarre, I just wish I had a clue what was going on before 2 minutes from the ending.

I started to watch "Pitch black" 6/10 , and thought I dont remember any of this..... then realised that I was thinking of the film "The Chronicles of Riddick"! 7/10. So I decided to get right into the darkness mode and switched films to watch "The Descent "8/10 instead. Great british movie which keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout, not relying on gore or overdone jumpy scences + full of easy on the eye ladies ( well until the blood starts to be worn as makeup! )

Talking of Will Smith, I stuck on Bad boys 2 last night and watched it with the new missus. I can't get enough of that film. All out fun filled action. Great set pieces, superb characters and awesome sound. 10/10 for pure fun from me.

I just finished watching Daybreakers......meh

It was fine for a bit of mindless entertainment and the basic concept was good, it was just very weakly done....especially the end.

It had a pretty good cast so i expected more to be honest.

6.5/10
