What film did you watch last night?

Ink

Well... I thought the blurb was confusing and concealing; thats nothing compared to the film. A complete visual mindf*** is how I would describe it.

I really don't know if I like it or not, I definetley zoned out in parts of the film and then drifted back into it. Some parts I enjoyed, others made zero sense and some were just absurd.

Watch the film, don't pause it for a break or else you won't switch it back on.

6.5/10

Abre Los Ojos.

Terrific Spanish film with a young Penélope Cruz and an angsty Eduardo Noriega. As with most of Alejandro Amenábar's films it contains an uncredited walk-on by Neville Gorman (he plays an extra in two of the crowd scenes).

Yeah it is a great film and it feels quite different to Vanilla Sky. Even though Vanilla Sky was almost a scene for scene remake, it has a warmth that Vanilla Sky is lacking.

I have deliberately avoided Vanilla Sky for that reason. I've heard that it was a dismal remake and Rotten Tomatoes absolutely canes it.

Vanilla Sky has Penelope Cruz with Tom Cruise. Abre Los Ojos has Penelope Cruz without Tom Cruz. End of. :D

Watched Up on Bluray the other night. Been trying to get into the Seven Samurai but currently only 30 minutes into the three hour feature. :o

Watched a bizarre film called the fall left me feeling a bit O_O when it ended still not sure what to make of it after a sleep either lol...

U.S. Marshals - the follow up (if it was) to the Fugitive. This has Wesley Snipes, in, not a bad film. "every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse".
