What film did you watch last night?

I agree with you, I bet it was a masterpiece of cinema, and still is.
I, however, didn't enjoy it. I won't be losing any sleep because you seem so offended by my opinion. If I did, however, I'd simply watch 2001 again, and all would be fine.

I'm not offended I'm disappointed....but making silly statements like outdated cinematography is meaningless....

Can I ask how old you are? I'm intrigued? It's a real shame that the youth of today and their attention spans have been destroyed by meaningless social media and the internets...

I've got my ticket to see 2001 on the big screen at the end of the month once it's re-released. Looking forward to it.

Nice...still one cannot believe it was made in 1968 Kubrick was a genius. It's
Stunning....the sound and set design are amazing and it predicts the future with astonishing accuracy...

Open the pod bay doors Hal.....

Apple were right thieves....iPod iPad iMessage etc....

Got Siri on your phone? Ask him to open the bod bay doors....he will play with you...ask him until you beat him down and he finally says it.:D

Hahaha, yeah the only bit I don't particularly enjoy is the intial bit on the space station. Can only ever see Leonard Rossiter as the guy from Rising Damp.

Lol yeah...being a massive fan of that show...it's hard to shake off...I just focus on the mise -en -scene and wonder at the set design....

2001 is like a shower...just let it wash over you......:D

The November Man

Really dull, nothing original. This movie drags its heels from the get go, even Brosnan couldn't liven this one up. Some awful casting/acting as well. I can't think of any reasons to recommend this movie.

3/10

Interstellar 9/10

Just saw this today, great film, great acting, great score, epic in the cinema. Got a little weird at the end, but I felt it worked.

The Drop - starring Tom "Bane" Hardy and James "Tony" Gandolfini, a crime thriller that slowly winds up and delivers a really good story and a excellent movie. 8/10

Fitting last movie for the big man himself

Guardians of the Galaxy

Finally got around to watching it, really good film, however one thing that really irked me was that they put Laika in it for a joke, and used the wrong breed/colour/gender of dog, it was like one of the easiest things to get right in the film and they missed by miles lol.

The space dog is supposed to be Cosmo though, who later on becomes part of the Guardian of the Galaxy.

Interstellar,

Really enjoyed it, gave me chills at times in the cinema, think LOTR was the last film to do that, slightly weak ending, but great!

9/10

Ahh that actually makes sense then I suppose, like most people though I just assumed it was Laika not a comic character based on her (so I guess it's the creators fault they used the wrong breed not the film makers as they were just going off what they had).

Hunger games. 5/10

No idea why everyone thinks its awesome.

& Interstellar

Drivel, i expected much better. (films like this should not have plot holes) and the acting was crap.
