What film did you watch last night?

Great storyline, awesome screenplay, and incredible acting.

What was there not to like?

Just one of those movies that did nothing for me at all, i can see why it would appeal to many people...it makes you feel better about yourself and grateful that you arent in Clarice's (sp?) shoes.

As i said, the wife loved it, personally i thought it was garbage, but thats the beauty of personal preference isnt it:D

Zack and Miri Make A Porno - enjoyable but I was expecting a bit more form the pairing of Kevin Smith and Seth Rogen, had some very good moment in though. 3.5/5

Watched heat on blu ray suprised i`d never seen it before but was worth the wait not exactly a good blu ray transfer as i found it to get very blurry/out of focus in places but the film was top notch if a tad long.

Sea Biscuit
Took a while to get the story going and probably 30 minutes longer than it needed to be but overall a rather good film, well presented and well acted.

Parfume: The Story of A Muderer

An adaption of the book, Parfume. Surprsingly the movie wasn't too dark, okay it was horrific but the book is far more graphic in some scenes. Overall I though it was pretty well done and I can't see how a film about smells could be any better. If anything, watch it for the climatic scenes, some crazy cinema right there.

6.5/10

Personally I think Perfume is really underrated. Great cinematography though.

Was it blurry and out of focus in the action scenes or just in odd places where you wouldn't expect it?

Duplicity - Clive Owen, Julia Roberts....I thought I was watching some kind of spy movie for the first 10 minute until I realise what it was, then it was like...LAME !!!! then it got kinda interesting.

Overall, it's okay, not amazing, easily forgettable, 5/10.

Anchorman 9/10
Talladega nights 8/10
Dodgeball 8/10

1968 Tunnel Rats gory, clostrophobic war movie from legendary crap movie director Uwe Boll. Lots of improvised acting, wondering around and a 'is that it?' ending.
6/10

Dance of the Dead Night of the Creeps wannabe.
4/10

50 Dead Men Walking: based on true story about an IRA informant in the late 80's. Thought it was quite good, a respectable 7/10 from me.

Star Trek: Entertaining, it looked good and with the usual Hollywood Sci-fi silly bits. 7/10

The Pianist: Very good in every respect, definitely worth watching! 9/10

Sex Drive

Watched this with the wife and wasnt expecting much but we definately laughed a lot.

Not in the same league as say the Hangover but definately worth a watch.

7.5/10
