What film did you watch last night?

John Wick.

I really liked it, just good solid action fun. I have to say though, I think perhaps Keanu isn't quite as good and quick on the martial arts as he thinks he is? Maybe I'm being super-harsh.. The moves he was doing were great but not really that fast?

It's not really a martial arts film though.

He is also supposed to be rusty from being out of the game, I mean he's not the best fighter, gets his ass kicked a couple times

I heard that the film makers specifically wanted Keanu Reeves because he'd look like someone who knew what he was doing but was out of practise.

I doubt they'd ever say something like that! The director was Keanu's stuntman in The Matrix and I'm sure he has been in a bunch of other Keanu movies too so in reality they're probably just best buds.

Cinderella. Absolutely beautiful to look at, great looking sets (though probably lots of cgi!) and costumes. Good cast, Cate Blanchett excellent of course. Helena Bonham Carter was very... Helena Bonham Carter. I could have done without Rob Brydon, though. Well worth a watch nonetheless.

Download this week's podcast on the bbc on film review and there is an interview with Keanu Reeves on it. Basically he got the script first and sent it to the stuntman guys who has their own production company? And originally was just to ask them to be the stunt coordinator on set but he also partly wanted them to direct and he's glad they did.

So I'm not sure who picked who, it appears Keanu Reeves was on board before they had a director.

Watched fast and furious 7 last night...and it was good but awful at the same time, the movie didnt feel like a fnf film. Obviously most of the sales were because of the tribute to paul, but overall disappointed and nevertheless i still teared up a bit at the end.

would have the movie played/scripted differently to the original if paul was alive for the filming, if anyone knows :P

Taken 3. I've taken 3 off of 7 to give it 4/10. The first one was enjoyable but the second was crap and the third crapper.
