What film did you watch last night?

Airplane vs Volcano. Some of the worst acting of all time. Ridiculous moments that made absolutely no sense. Really lame action scenes. Absurd plot. Awful characters.
8/10. Really enjoyed it.

I tried to watch that a while back. Really struggled, couldn't finish it. It was beyond "har-har" bad.

Thanks for this, I watched and thought it was fantastic, about time they made the US Army look like the bad guys as it's always the opposite, and just goes to show that GITMO should be dismantled and removed, as no detainee there has ever been tried or convicted of any crime and it's sickening to see that the US has secured release for over 70 inmates in 2007 but yet they are still rotting there?!

8/10 Film for me.

Watch 'taxi to the dark side' it's about prisoners in abu graid

I thought it hit the spot of so bad it's good perfectly tbh.

They only lost 30-40 soldiers in their attempt to save the 3-4 people from the plane!...and my favourite bit was when they started firing missiles at the volcano in order to stop it. I won't lie though, I was rooting for the volcano at times.

Practically every attempt the film made to illicit an emotional response resulted in the opposite emotion, and that is really quite extraordinary.

Camp X Ray

Decent film about a relationship between a prison guard at Guantanamo Bay and a prisoner. Bit slow at times.

Watched this last night. Did enjoy it too, but agree it's slow at times. Does make you wonder though, all those souls still rotting in Git Mo as "detainees".

Also nice to see Tweener from Prison Break appear in it too :)

Just enjoyed Antarctica: A Year On Ice.

I know, not strictly a 'film' but an excellent docu-movie (?). Some absolutely breathtaking scenery along with so simply jaw dropping photography.

An unquestionable, for me, 10/10.

John Wick. Was exactly what I expected it to be. A stylish Die Hard.

There seems to be absolutely nothing of interest to me in the cinemas at the moment, really struggling to get the motivation to go.

Age of Ultron.

Great actions, sometimes a little overly actiony but the little breaks of humour in between helps. The use of surprise smash/smack out of screen is a little overly used too.

I avoided the film trailers so enjoyed most of what came and the additional new character not shown on posters.

I rate it just a smidge better than the first but Guardians of the Galaxy definitely beats it by a mile in terms of comic action, story and humour. 7.5/10

Avengers 2 : Age of Ultron (2D) - 7/10 - I enjoyed this overall even though I'm now going to nit-pick it to death :D The overall story felt very similar to the first for me (team gets broken up, team reassemble in finale) and it felt around 30mins too long but I really liked the Hawkeye stuff as a way of reminding us that amongst all the untouchable Gods/Superheroes there are still humans in the mix. The characters worked well again with plenty of Whedon humour (of which I'm a fan but I can see it failing for others) and the new ones didn't feel out of place, although a little under used. I though the mo-cap for Ultron was perfect, I could see all of Spaders little mannerisms but I felt that he never felt "bad" enough. However I enjoyed the film but yet again not the cinema experince which was dire (crap seats, loud people, phones being used etc).

I thought it was the biggest load of toss this side of a Mills & Boon book. Textbook cash-in-on-a-famous-book movie, zero effort and as drawn out as a Ryan Gosling film.

Going to see Age of Ultron tomorrow, can't wait.
