What film did you watch last night?

Watched The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas.....was expecting a rather childish movie as it's based on a kids book and has a child as the main protagonist but was actually quite surprised by how good it was. Would def recommend it to anyone with even a mild interest in WWII

Errr, its been a couple of months since I last watched it, there's a lot of silence and a lot of shots of space with just music but I can't remember any extended blank sections in the film... like I say though, it's been a while.

Edit: Oh you mean the Intermission, yes that's integral! :D (no honestly I don't know why it's there either, I think just to let the first part of the film settle into your brain. It forces you to sit there watching a black screen just contemplating what you've seen, as you're never sure when it's going to start again.)

is it meant to have those bit were its black and just has sound

The remastered version is the version the audiance saw in 1968 when it was first released. The first few minutes the certains were drawn shut and all you could here music. Then the certains would slowly open to the scene of the planets and the big theme tune of 2001. ta-daaaa!!!!!! etc

So yes, thats like how it is

This was sort of copied a few years later with Star Trek 1: The motion picture. Where all you hear is music with a star fields

By the way just saw Taken 7/10 good soild thriller!

I thought there was some thing wrong with my ps3, at first it couldnt read the disc then all i could hear was music :(

As for the movie it was OK, i think it was a bit over rated.
