Locke 9/10
I stumbled across Locke on film 4 last night. I'd never heard of it before and seeing as Tom Hardy was in it I thought I'd give it a go. Excellent film, Tom Hardy was excellent in it. The whole film is set in with tom hardy driving in his car making/receiving a series of phone calls trying to 'fire fight' his career and personal life as it all starts to crumble around him.
Locke is an excellent movie.
TBH despite the whole back story with his father, I cannot for the like of me understand his decision making
Byzantium:
Neil Jordan's slow and thinky vampire movie, where Saoirse Ronan spends lots of time being angsty and suffering PTSD flashbacks whilst staring into the distance, and Gemma Arteton dresses as a slutty vampire hooker so we can all admire her impressive baps.
Enjoyable as the story and the history of how the characters got there gradually unfold, but the ending feels a little rushed, with a little too much happy ever after. It's as much a story about a mother's love and growing up as it is about vampires, but it's not for everyone, unless you're a fan of Gemma Arteton's.... acting... yeah, her acting....
Kingsman 8/10
Second time but on the small screen. Quiet good still much more violent than i remember the first time and o forgot how much of a freak Samuel L jackson's character was.
I think they edited out the whole Swedish Princess ending too....
Kill Bill. This one has really grown on me with repeated viewings. 7.5/10
And, yes... Edge of Tomorrow is a great pic.
