What film did you watch last night?

Holmes and Watson :D/10

It turns out I cannot be objective when it comes to Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. There may be a part of my brain that knows it was total crap, but the rest of me was too busy smirking and having a good time. Puerile goodness.

Dead don't die: 1/10.
Amazing cast but idiotic writing, directing, everything. I've never been so bored. Tries to be clever but fails miserably.

This. x100
Saw it on Saturday and just came away wondering wth I just saw. Total car crash. Made last jedi look sensible. I just dont understand what they were trying to do with the film.

It looked like every scene was directed by someone new who never spoke to anyone else. Utterly bizarre film. Will no doubt be a cult classic in 30 years.

It really is awful, I've tried 3 times to watch and I just can't get through it, unheard of for me. Absolutely dire.

I didn't mind it. It wasn't great and i was fairly glad when it finished. But a couple of the jokes really tickled me.

Not really spoilers but the scene near the beginning where Bill Murray said the music was familiar and the other guy said it should be, it's the theme song and then the comments after finding the bodies in the diner where everyone says the same thing "It looks like a wild animal, or maybe several wild animals"

Maybe i'm just easily amused :p

I will sit through any trash with zombies in, I heard of negative reviews but zombies + quirky humour + bill/adam - what could possibly go wrong? Everything apparently...

Downton Abbey - 7/10.

Exactly what you'd expect. It's a nice watch if you're a fan of the series, but I won't say much more as it's not out yet.

Aladdin 2019 6/10
Worth a watch but it not even half as good as the original, to me it seam shorter then the cartoon and they seam to have added more songs just to take up time instead of focusing on what was good about the original.

All the Characters seamed bland no charisma unlike the cartoon, the only good point was Will smith and Aladdin. They could easily have done a much better job.

I hated jaffar I would preferred they white washed it and got someone to do a good job then what we got.

Mowgli 5.5/10
Was not as good as the Disney one, the CGI was a little poor, Kaa looked plastic.
The kid playing Mowgli could not act for ****, I dont know why he was picked.

Saw the new Tarantino down the cinema on Sunday gone. Very enjoyable. Can't really say too much about plot for spoilers but excellent performance all round and whoever they got to play Steve McQueen was amazing lookalike or deepfake is now part of cinema.

10/10

It part 2

A little drawn out towards the end and not a totally satisfying win, but was really good.

8.5 out of 10

10/10

The ratings for this movie seems to be all over the place, some of the early reviews were poor so I avoided watching this at the cinema and decided to wait until it comes out on Blu-ray.

"Don't Look Now" (1973) - 1/10

Wife picked this up on recent Blu-ray release, supposed to be a cult classic but frankly boring as hell. High point the sex scene where it's reputed Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie did it for real on set, but you can't really tell. Picture quality awful, really grainy, no restoration done for the disc at all.

One for the charity shop bag.

I picked this one up as well after reading the review on AV Forums.

My wife and I didn't even get to the end before turning it off.
