What film did you watch last night?

All the Money in the World (2017)

An interesting story about the Getty family. Kidnap saga.

6/10

Picture quality was a 8.5/10 in UHD.

Non Stop with Liam Neeson. 6/10.

Not a Bad Movie. Better than I thought it was going to be. Decent plot with a twist and some action. A bit cheesy at times though.

Will pass a couple of hours if you have nothing better to do.

I watched Extract last night, from the same guys that made Office Space,
Focus on the tall skinny guy with the black hair and try to think where you've seen him before! you'll be shocked when you realise!

Bo Burnham: Inside

Absolutely superb. The talent on display is beyond anything I expected. Will be surprised if I see anything better this year.

I thought it was great too... I've actually had some of the tracks playing on in the background when doing stuff, obviously the special itself should be seen first but I still just kinda enjoy listening to them anyway, you can choose your player of choice here https://boburnham.lnk.to/INSIDE I just had them going on youtube as I don't use spotify or anything.

I don't tend to listen to pop music and because they've got that similar catchyness or whatever it means I've sometimes woken up with them kinda in my head.

Oh for sure, just the general quality of the music is half what makes it so endearing I feel. Even if you where to take the excellent lyrics away they would still be genuinely well written songs. Some of those hooks would make even Carole King blush.

Speaking of Highlander, I rewatched recently as it appeared on a streaming service. Obviously it was janky to start with (12-year old Joe was clearly a much more forgiving/clueless critic), but I clearly never realised how much of a creep Christopher Lambert's character is. Like.. how is this the protagonist?

I guess it's just endemic of low-budget 80s movies (or rather, 80s movies that blew the entire production budget in the first scene). Still, it was pretty terrible.

I remember going to see A few good men with my mum and auntie when I was a boy.
We were sat there watching the trailers and one for Free Willy came on, cue my Inappropriate mother shouting for the whole Cinema to hear... YES PLEASE!
I just slumped down in my chair trying to hide.
I suppose that's where I get my humour from.

You fell into Scams trap there buddy

Major hard on with any sniff of an illegal download!
looks that way.

Strange seen as there's a thread on here with the movie title with a number of people giving reviews of it and clearly admitting to watching it. but anyhooo
