What film did you watch last night?

I just watched Bee Movie with my son. Honestly what on earth is this film? It's Cars 2 levels of weird.

2/10 I guess, I did snigger at one joke.

Fatherhood - Kevin hart is a lone parent after his wife suddenly dies after giving birth - 7/10.

Turns out occasionally, Hart can actually act quite well, however I went into this expecting it to be more comedic, tugged on the heart strings quite a bit.

Armageddon 10/10
I know plenty of people hate it but others love it and I'm one of them. It's just pure action even in the scenes that aren't meant to be action. The music, sound effects, visual effects on top of everything is just awesome and it still holds up for a film that is over 20 years old.

Love this film. Ive watched it half a dozen times, at least. I didn't realise it's over 20 years old tho

I had forgotten about Cobra Kai until I was reminded about it the other day but thought I'd start at the beginning with the original Karate kid. Cheesy, predictable but endearing with good fight scenes that aren't massively over the top of stylised. A few smiles too with some of Mr Miyagi's lines too. 6 or 7/10 for me though I'll give bump it to 8/10 because of nostalgia.

Thats amazing never really saw that. Edgar is such an awesome director

It’s worth checking out the CinemaWins youtube video for Baby Driver. So many things I missed like Baby’s top changing between black for criminal, white for wanting to escape with Deborah or when he's conflicted between the 2 it's black and white or grey. Same goes for his sunglasses. Also a number of Baby's lines being samples of song lyrics or things he's watched on TV, the ending somewhat being given away as it all happens or is said earlier in the film. Dammit! I think I need to give it another watch now.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Original) - 8/10. Still feels very relatable today and looked wonderful in 4k.

Dr No - 9/10. Despite being the first, I love this one the most out of all the older bond films. Sean Connery was something else back in the day

Ice Road - 3/10.

The premise was good but implementation ruined by massive plot holes, two dimensional story with cliched bad guys and another lacklustre performance from the increasingly wooden Mr. Neeson.
is the cgi crap throughout, I only gave it 5 minutes?

Our Friend on Prime Video. A good film based on a true story.

I Still See You on Prime Video. Not too bad horrorish film.

Last night it watched The Misfits. Its a heist movie in a similar vein to Leverage/Hustle tv shows starting Pierce Brosnan and Tim Roth. I actually quite enjoyed it. 7/10

Quite place 2 5/10

I honestly thought the first was gash and to have to pay to see the second as well...... The things you do for love.
The 2 people i watched it with were falling over themselves about how good it was.

I was hoping it would be much more of a prequal than the glimpse we got.... Honestly this film is not special or original in anyway... just dumb, cliched, nonsensical.
