What film did you watch last night?

Machete
Full of gore, badass Mexicans, a priest who kills people, body parts flying, boobs, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodrigez.

What more does anyone want?!

Resident Evil: Apocalypse 1/10 (I gave it a 1 because I'd give the dark haired girl, 1)

Looking forward to the new film - "The curious case of Paul W S Anderson" one of his first films is excellent (Event Horizon) and just gets worse with age.

Species on BR

Worth watching just for the stunning Natasha Henstridge in the buff. One of the few films BR does little to enhance, apart from the naked shots are a bit clearer :) Though the DTS-HD soundtrack has plenty of punch.

Movie - 6/10
Natasha - 10/10

Just watched last night.

Black Death- didn't rate it at all 4/10
Four Lions - 7/10 if only all terrorists were this inept :D
Prince of Persia - Fantasy adventure, quite enjoyed it 7/10

Synecdoche, New York - 10/10 for sure

The wife and I really enjoyed this. Really good film from Charlie Kaufman. The cast is very strong, particularly Philip Seymour Hoffman. In fact, the casting in general is very smart, given the need for people to look like each other for the purposes of the plot. The themes of aging and decisions and consequences are all really well handled and it falls squarely between being very clever and very moving.

Wild Target.

Not too serious a film, pretty good, but doubt I'd watch it again.

Started watching Manhunter earlier and even though it's old, the opening scenery and camerawork is nothing short of great! Can't wait to watch it all, got the feeling that it will be quite a highly rating film.

I'm watching Robin Hood at the moment and only 30 mins in and Russell Crow's accent has changed so many times I've lost count!

I watched it a few weeks back and thought it was excellent. I kept thinking about it afterwards - always a good sign. Going to watch it again soon as the plot was quite complex and I didn't quite get some of it.
