What film did you watch last night?

Transformers 2 and Saving private ryan on blu ray. Transformers 2 was ok'ish, not as good as the first one. Cant praise Saving private ryan enough, one of my favourite films of all time.

Just watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

A good film, but like any book-to-film translation, lots of parts are missed out. One thing that had a slight hint in the film, but only because I knew the book, was the "thing" between Mikael and Erika - which other than a couple of stares across a room, is completely ignored - leaving you wondering "why the cold stare?" if you didn't know why because they made the stares very "in your face"

But - not to detract too much, it was a good film as a film nevertheless, and the main part of the story was told well.

Watched 'Solomon kane' and 'Clash of the Titans'.

CotT was ok, but not really a film I would watch again but worth the watch anyhow.

Solomon Kane actually was very good. Very dark which I like.

Shutter Island.

Great movie I thought. Way the cameras flicked about sometimes annoyed me but good story.

8/10

Last two nights I watched In The Loop, then the Knowing. First film was excellent, top notch office-esque fly on the wall political satire - whilst the Knowing wasn't anything worth shouting about, I liked the premise but the entire film just lacked any polish or fresh ideas.

anyone finding normal tv pretty rubbish at the moment, i remember when i was younger my parents would allow me to stay up on fridays and sat till 11 to watch movies like close encounter of the third kind, terminator, or robocop.

i end up flicking through chanels upon chanels with nothing, one movie i would recomend is the crazies on blu ray, awsome film

Definitely, don't even bother with it any more.

Has anyone noticed how adverts seem to be on at the same time across ALL channels?! Can't skip over as they come on together!

I Am Legend on BR

Liked it better the 2nd time around, haven't seen it for so long I could hardly remember any parts of it. Looks great in HD and sounds even better, had my sette shaking quite a few times!

I'm such a wuss. i just broke up with my girlfriend so i watched PS, I Love You, and had a curry and a couple of beers on my own - how depressing. then i played an hour's worth of solitaire...

rubbish film, was just as rubbish as the first time "it" made me watch it.

however.... YIPPEEE i'm single!!!

This afternoon on DVD. The Seven Ups.

I love grimy 70's American movies. This one had Roy Scheider (always a plus) and a car chase that mashed up most of Bullitt and the French Connection.

Judging from my lack of PVR recording I've hardly watched telly at all over the last month month or more. Very little worth seeing now.
