What film did you watch last night?

Mr Nobody - 7/10. Pretty mad, and a bit all over the place. I kept asking myself if I was enjoying it but by the end I think that I did. Not a wow movie, by any means, and I wouldn't be quick to recommend it but not a bad watch.

Zombieland - 8.5/10. Was late, we wanted a funny film that we could just stare at and drink beer to. We got exactly this. And, Emma Stone is bloody beautiful.

Thank You For Smoking - 8.5/10. 2nd time I've watched it, still as good as the first time. I fell asleep half way through though (because I was shattered/drunk, nothing to do with the film).

Fighting - 3/10. Turned it off halfway through, read the rest of the plot on Wiki afterwards and was glad I did. Awfully written also.

I went ahead a watched AVP2 and probably just watched the worst film EVER, ten times worse than the first, just utter utter tosh from start to finish. Words cannot comprehend just how bad that film was.

How rubbish like that ever gets made is a serious question

Kingdom of Heaven - Directors Cut

Brilliant film imo, 9/10

This is the first film I've ever watched at home that actually has an intermission, I felt compelled to go for a wee and get some ice cream :D

Monsters - 7/10 - a good film, if slightly miss-sold on the trailer. Decent tension and story telling, and amazing that it was put together for $15k using Adobe CS4!

2/10 avoid if you expect any action...nothing happens until the less few minutes, even then it was pretty lame.

Stranger Than Fiction - 7.5-8/10

Great to see Will Ferrel play a more serious role, he actually proves he can act in this film.

I really enjoyed it.

I keep hearing good things about the director's cut but just can't get to it. I did see the original release and can't say I was that impressed though.

The Collector, great horror movie - gruesome, fiendish, very graphic, dark, atmospheric, well shot and good audio. Would recommend 9/10.

First movie in a very long while to make me want to look away at a certain part, i.e. hide behind a cushion like a big girls blouse (:p), reminded me of the late 70s and early 80s horrors.

Inception , enjoyed the story and the concept, was a little prolonged in places and not as good as the hype around it suggested, but a decent sci-fi film all the same.

7/10

Skyline ********POSSIBLE SPOILER OF SOME KIND*********

perfectly fine for a trashy sci-fi movie, except that the ending is the very worst that i have ever seen in any film....EVER.

6/10 for the first 65 minutes.

1/10 for the last 15 minutes.

Watched Rambo II last night. Had only seen the latest one until recently but much preferred the first one.

Good film for it's time but really poor narrative and Sly has certainly gotten better at the acting lark since then. 7/10 IMO

Had a mate around who is a huge sci-fi nut and had never seen Chronicles of Riddick. It was the directors cut and although a bit drawn out in places (the non-directors cut solved that) it is such a classic flick. IMO this is Vin Diesel's best role so far and really hope they make the 4th as rumours suggest. 8/10

9/10 I'd give it. Classic film. The music and the title cards were utterly superb.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was even better. Two utter acting pro's making it look so easy.

Well I watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid last night and was slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong it was not a bad film at all it is just that I preferred The Sting. BCATSD had some very good scenes and fine banter but The Sting was just better IMO. 3/5

Thanks for the recommendation though MarcLister!
