What film did you watch last night?

Watched Total Recall last night, Tron in 3D Imax, The Running Man and The Fugitive today, I sure am pounding through a lot of movies this Christmas :p

I wish people would stop talking about Inception like it's complicated or they were expecting it to be. It's really not. It's very simple; it's just well executed.

Splice. Got good critic reviews but poor audience feedback so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Reminded me a little of Species. Quite enjoyable, felt it could have gone a lot darker though. 6/10

Layer Cake

9/10

Excellent film, I was supposed to watch it years ago but the DVD I had kept skipping, then, I just didn't get round to watching it.

Well worth the watch.

Nightmare On Elm Street (the new one)

Quite good, think I preferred the make up in the new one than the original.

Devil

Interesting, but as it's an M Night Shaymalaananananan film, I spent most of the film looking for the twist :(

The Crazies.

Again, interesting and quite brutal in places.

Cromwell 7.5/10

The original (and best) Dumbledore goes all 17th Century on the original (and best) Obi Wan Kenobi's ass, in a rather fine bit of old skool cinema, set in the Civil War.

The film, and Harris in particular, get a bad rap, but I don't see what's wrong with it... Guinness could be King Charles and Harris is suitably volcanic as Oliver. It may not be the fastest paced film in the world, but that's not the point.

Lesbian vampire killers. Speechless tbh even the scantily clad females couldn't save it, although they had a good go to be fair. 3/10

Little Fockers

Loved the hilarity in the previous films so was buzzed to see this and it had its funny moments. Jessica Alba was in it so that alone did it for me.

7/10!
