Sunday I am watching Saw VI at the cinema and then Star Trek III: The search for Spock (continuing my bluray saga).

Watched Forrest Gump properly for the first time. Had seen it before but I was very young.

Brilliant film. Made me cry.

I don't care what certain critics say, it's a truly great film.

I watched 'Heartbreak Ridge' last night - classic Clint Eastwood.

It's a pretty predictable plot and heavily stereotyped characters but some of the one-liners are amazing.

I've not seen many of Eastwood's films but I saw Grand Torino a little while back and he does the grumpy ol' ******* character very well.
