What film did you watch last night?

Source Code: 8/10 - Surprisingly quite brilliant!
Might go see it... Can you tell me, in the trailers he can only go back 8 minutes before the accident or something... Is there a plausible reason for this or is it just a plot device?

I have a bet with someone that there's no plausible reason for the limit, if I lose I eat a dirty sock!

Vanishing on 7th Street - Not really one I would watch again. Only 1 slight scare near the beginning and not really felt any tension after that. Hayden still cannot act either. 5/10

I have The Hole and Eden Lake to watch after seeing a few mentions about it on here.

Just watched Tron: Legacy in full HD, have to admit its a visually stunning film. People rave about how good Avatar looked but for me this is easily the most visually awe inspiring film I have seen. Ok, the story isn't great, and it doesn't take any real risks, but for the full 2 hours I was kept glued to my set because of how amazing it looked.

At the cinema ?? I went to check the BR disc and that is not out until mid April :(

They didn't really elaborate on it any further than stating that's as far as the brain remembers before death, so I guess you can say it was just a plot device and feed your mate the dirty sock :D

Wanted:

Wow, I recorded this on v+ ages ago but haven't watched it.
Tonight it was on ITV HD, so thought i'd give it a look (for some reason its never pulled me in enough to watch it). Glad I did.
Good action, nicely paced and had me watching all the time.

Surprised, in a good way :)

7/10

Saw sucker punch the other night.
Story is a little simple and weak but the style is like manga live. Some good CGI battlescenes although OTT. Good for a bit of brainless action at the cinema. (My missus got lost on the plot early on :D)

Let us know what you think? My thoughts on the movie can be found here

Earlier tonight I watched The Green Hornet and I have to admit it really wasn't what I was expecting from a super hero movie! No spoilers from me here but suffice to say I really enjoyed it, though Admiral Adama is scraping the bottom of the barrel for job opportunities imo and Cameron Diaz is really beginning to look her age :(

That said the stunts and special effects (especially the fighting scenes) were brilliantly done and his car was simply awesome - 8/10 :D

Got Battle: Los Angeles to watch tomorrow night :)

Faster

Yet another film that could've been a perfectly average no frills action film with "The Rock" but instead ended up a complete mess.

4/10
