What film did you watch last night?

Up In The Air - 'romantic comedy' with George Clooney about a man who travels so much that he was only home 42 nights in a year, an isolated loner. Didn't know what to expect but it was quite an enjoyable watch but finished and that was it, nothing special. 2/5

The kids are alright - 6/10 average drama at best. If the movie was not about a lesbian family it probably would have been a tv or straight to dvd film. The dialogue felt very forced at times.

2/5? Do me a favour. That's easily a 4/5. 3 at the lowest.

You're really saying it's only 40% good?

We watched Iron Man 2 on Saturday night. Quite weird having a superhero movie in which everyone knows the guy's identity.

Robert Downey Jr is brilliant in that role, and I was quite impressed by some of his and Gwyneth Paltrow's fast paced dialogue.

Overall it was good fun but utterly mindless.

Got to be honest and I did ponder about the score, while watching it I liked it, but it just fizzled out. I wanted something a bit different, don't know.

I originally hired the film from a recomendation on here, the 'romantic comedy' comment in my post is a jibe at how it was explained on the sticker of the disk, not my opinion.

Oh well, glad to have started a mini debate.

I've got it on blue ray and haven't watched it yet, not sure what is stopping me as I really enjoyed Iron Man.

Watched the Fighter last night...what an utterly awesome movie..thought Bale and Wahlberg did an outstanding job of portraying Ward and Dicky respectively....9/10 for me.

Also watched the Season of the Witch with Nick Cage in it...not that bad actually and quite enjoyed it...7/10 for me.

I watched this last night. Had been waiting months for the Bluray to be released and it finally came through from my rental list. Gets a solid 8/10 from me. :D

Best to watch in HD and fullscreen.
