What film did you watch last night?

Mr. Brooks - enjoyed it, obviously a few similarities to Dexter but liked the interaction between him and Marshall. 3/5

Mr Brooks is quite a dark film, enjoyed that when I saw it :)

Last night, me and the girlfriend watched The Fantastic Mr Fox in the cinema, we both loved it. I hadn't read the book before, but it shares a lot of the darkish humour that you find in The Twits and George's Marvellous Medicine.

In years to come, this will become a Christmas day movie, shown at 3pm, finishing just in time for The Great Escape to start :p

Love the animation and all the charachters

7/10

Spot on.

Last film I watched was the Fourth Kind, at the cinema.

Not the greatest movie, a 6/10 at most - but did make me feel really uneasy all night afterwards, has a few really disturbing moments.

Watched The Orphanage last night, one of the best horrors ive seen in a while, a lot better than the usual USA teen horrors that are mass produced over the last few years.

Watched Angels & Demons last night, fairly unimpressive.

I'd figured it out very quickly, I gave up on the book as well.

Looking forward to the George A Romero fest I'm having tonight, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead & Day of the Dead :D

The Hills Run Red yawn inducing torture porn masquerading as slasher film.
The Uninvited boring teen horror with seen it all before shocking twist at the end.
Infestation Sci Fi Channel type creature flick with slightly better acting, fx, prodouction values than similar stuff found on that channel.

District 9

I was somewhat disappointed, not saying it was a bad film; maybe just not what I was expecting.

Just got back from the cinema after seeing this.

What a complete load of tosh.

It kept me entertained for the first half, then annoyed me for the second half.

I would give it 4/10 if I was feeling generous. There is only one really disturbing moment (involving Tommy) and it's got nothing to do with aliens.

I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over it.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

1/3 Chore
1/3 Amusing
1/6 Sentimental
1/6 Painful

That pretty much sums up the film I think. I won't mind watching it again, but not for a while. The film certainly felt very over-rated. Maybe I was expecting something else, or maybe I just wasn't really in the mood. Time will tell I guess.
