What film did you watch last night?

Not had a good night as movie watching goes. :p

Attempted to watch The Grey Zone, a film about Auschwitz with Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi, but turned it off after 20 minutes as it was awful.

Then tried to watch Last Action Hero. Also turned it off, I can see why it was one of the biggest flops of all time.

Then watched the first Harry Potter film, after not reading the books or seeing the films before. Actually enjoyed it, probably one of the best children's films ever.

Night At the Museum 2 - I really enjoyed the first one, and the second is more of the same :D Which is great as it is very funny. Lots of LOL moments and an excellent cast.

Well worth a watch.

Wife and I stayed up last night to watch The Island

If I were to meet Michael Bay I would slap him. I'd then find the people who continue to think that giving this jerk big budgets to make his films is a good idea and slap them twice as hard.

Theres one amusing part where they are running through the facility and Mcgregor pushes a guy out the way. The guy is actually pushed into Biel's path and you can see they collide heavily :)

Theres also a part where Bean injects one of Mcgregors characters mates and you assume that he has been killed for asking too many questions. Yet at the end the guy is stood next to the black guy.

Tripe!

Got Twilight and Valkyrie tonight.

The wifes choice. Tesco had 2 for 1 on blu-ray. I chose Valkyrie. I did try to talk her in to Mall Cop (its looks relatively amusing) but she went for twilight. Women!

Well good choice on Valkyrie anyway, its a great fill, only downside is it should have all been done in German imho, as hearing all the Nazi's speak in various accents is rather bizarre.

I actually really enjoyed it, that is to say I agree the story lacks punch or completeness.

But looking past that, its an animation for adults realistically, with some very dark themes hidden away, but children can still watch it as a fun flick.

8/10

ps. Not sure about Wood's voice acting, sometimes my eyes glossed over and all I could see was Frodo Baggins...

Watched a Jon Woo film last, cant think which one it is.

Tis the one where he makes the girl blind and they fall in love.

Such a mad random film lol, so good for a hangover watch.

Went and saw Paranormal Activity. Wasn't a big fan of it myself, As a film its useless but obviously no-one goes to see it because they want a good story.

Plenty of people jumping out of their seats!
