What film did you watch last night?

I watched AI on the BBC, for the first time.

It's a film that I've read a lot about, because of it been a Kubrick film that Spielberg directed.

I absolutely loved the film, I thought the story arch was very good. The performances were exceptional, the little boy David (Haley Joel Osment) was outstanding in his role, Jude law and Frances O'Connor were very good. Music, cinematography and effects were also utterly stunning.

A truly beautiful film. The ending, while emotional is a blend of happiness and sadness. A very cyclic film, in the roles and reversals and often bigger pictures. Fantastic. Enjoyed it a lot.

A high 9/10 for me.

Man on Fire. Never got round to watching it until now and I must say it was most excellent, an action/vengeance blowing things up film, but with a really good interesting story backing it up. Denzel Washington was on top form.

you diddnt like it? i thought it was great

Hated it. It just didnt work for me.

How could people think Heath Ledgers performance was any good when he was only on screen for about 10 minutes, to be fair to him though the script was cack imo.

It also went on far far too long, by the end I didnt care what happened. i just wanted the credits to role.

The Joker is also the kind of role where the actor should be stealing the show, when actually all it did was steal 2 1/2 hours of my life.

Bring back Burton imo.

American Pie: 5/10 - Didn't find it as funny as I have previously. Don't know if that's because I watched it sober or because I'm getting older.

American Pie 2: 4/10 - Same as the first just less funny.
