What have you done to your car today?

MK3 Sports are more money than this and are depreciating not appreciating. Plus I like the retro styling of the NA. :)

sounds like you need to make your mind up :D if you want mx5 then go for the silver one! especially if you can swap it for little to no money.

if you want a 350z which is a completely different beast then aim for that haha.

You know me, I never know what I want. :p

Flattened the battery, AA came out within 25 minutes though and I don't leave work til 7 so no harm done.

Not sure how it happened though, went back to the car and the ignition/heater/lights were on.
Which is weird because the car goes completely off with the "Engine off" button and it's not as if you can accidentally double-tap it for it to go off then on again without noticing!

Did a pulley and tensioner change on the M3. Had a slight whine for the first couple of minutes of driving from cold and when I changed the idler pulley (top right in first photo) a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the tensioner pulley was coarse when spun and made a slight noise like an antilag wastegate noise. Time for a change!

Put it off for a few weeks because unlike every other pulley, which is about £20, this one is £140. And the tensioner is another £80. It's only £140 because it comes with the full bracket, which I you don't need as you can happily reuse the old one! You just need the pulley, but that isn't available...

Installed a new battery. I think the one in my car was the original so was getting on a bit. The one I installed is a varta silver 77ah same as a Bosch silver. The original was also a varta but 72ah. Started first time on the button usually with the old one id have to hold the key for a bit.

Also bled the clutch to try fix a clutch pedal slowly raising issue. Don't think I did it properly as the clutch pedal seems better though a little spongy. Going to change the fluid next to see if that helps.

It could also be the cdv from what I read but I couldn't take off the breather valve for the clutch too see if it has one inside.
