What have you done to your car today?

In an attempt to match my DRL's I fitted a pair of Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited bulbs and whilst they are an improvement over OEM unfortunately they don't come close. I have done some more research and it seems Osram Blue Intense (4200k) are the best i'm going to get with road legal bulbs, on the other hand Philips Diamond Vision at 5000k seem to fit the bill but are deemed as illegal to use on UK roads.

The only additional intrusion is the steering rack knuckle which affects the sort of downpipes you can have... Nothing else. The several 400HP+ RHD E30's in the club seem to confirm that... The guy who's been helping with my shopping list has a 440HP Touring using a Holset HX35.

Maybe you had a dream that you read something..? ;)

Hows the Golf anyway, I do like that thing. :D

Added support to floor so it does not crack/bent with no spare wheel in the car

Tested with 4 bags of grocieries from Tesco :D. Think I will permamently attach mount for gopro/mobile phone to rear strutbar like I'w had in DC2 today.
 
Dropped the Corolla off for its MOT. Pulled the front bumper off while parking it outside the MOT station... Had a go at re-attaching it but opted to leave a note asking if they can do it, citing that I'm a moron... They will love me... :p
 
Cos its lowered 4cm and the bumper has a splitter on the bottom of it, and then the splitter has the undertray on the bottom of it, a normal height curb is the perfect height for this kind of disaster :p :(

So I drive to a Rave (nothing new) and freaking Clutch cable snapped so we pushed it up to like a car park with mate and went on foot. Next day i went to store got myself a new clutch cable took spanner and off to FIX IT.
Turned out I broke down next to a GARAGE and was standing in theirs car park :D Started changing cable but 1 bolt was different to spanner size.
So went to garage borrowed few tools from the guys and fixed my clutch cable on theirs car park. Gave them a tenner and drove off :D

It had proper car audio done cost me 3 times more than the car :D Build custom subs custom dor panels custom radio mount and custom rear speakers shelf :] 1KW RMS :D was not fast but sound was fantastic :)

After 2 years I sold it to guy next doors. He drove the sit out of it for 8 years till some guy in M5 beemer crashed in to it.
Zastava vs Beemer 1:0 that thing was build like a tank. Light it was not. Ok it got written off but should have seen photo of the BMW buhahahaha looked like he crashed in to a building :D
 
Seriously, what ever happened to seeing a car and then haggling once you're there?
Just put up the Chevy Turd Spark for sale and I've had 4 calls within 20 mins of the ad going live. Each one asking "what's your last price?"

Last price is a great phrase - it allows you to immediately identify the type of person on the other end of the phone and quickly invent a reason why you’re not selling the car.

Inb4 that’s racist meme :p
 
I once had a guy phone me 5 times asking if I would take less for the car, as he couldn't quite get that last £150 together (for a £7k car). Given he had never seen the thing and just oozed "do not deal with me" over the phone I declined politely, then eventually got rather annoyed and told him not to call back.

A day later i got another call from the guys Dad asking the same question, with a slightly different variation on the sob story.

Haha id tell em to **** off and stop wasting my time. If You have not put ONO in add that is yhe going price init? So why calling and asking for price when its there.

Only 3 people out of the 10 or so calls I've had haven't given me a lowball offer over the phone. One of those is coming in a bit. Quite refreshing to have a normal conversation about the car without having to justify your asking price :p

Just as I was typing this, I had someone literally start the conversation by shouting €2000 at me. Wow.
