Appreciate they won't be to some tastes as they're not OEM, but frankly I'm happy... And yes the car needs a clean!

Pilot Sports will last 40% longer though ;)
With my 3000miles a year those will last Years!
People get around 10-12k miles out of them. Thats 3 years for me lol. Mates wive drove whole winter in poland with -20 on those around city soft compound wears fast but grip always there even sub 0 in snow hehe.

Changed tyres on DC2 due to being 5 years old not cause of wear still had 5mm haha.

Carbon vented bonnet ordered.
Coilovers fitted this coming Wednesday.
Just need a coolant flush and I think that'll do until winter for changes, unless my gearbox needs repairs in the meantime :p

At one point the tyres I had on the E30 were 10 - 12 years old... They are all brand new now, but the spare is an original Pirelli P600. I think the date stamp means 1989. It is in mint condition, looks unused. Still pliant and uncracked. :p

I should probably replace it but its cool to have the original spare in an old car... :p

Not today, but had a lot of fun at the weekend. Was driving along a reasonably remote but beautiful area where I live when I hit a pothole that was obscured by some tree shadows. Cue some very interesting banging and grindy noises, something was very wrong, but was in the middle of nowehere and tried to limp home. Unfortunately what followed was one of my AD08's letting go. Coil spring had snapped and further driving had dislodged the sharp part into the tyre. Pulled over and eventually managed to get a space saver on which luckily cleared the broken spring. Now it's time for some very overdue suspension shopping.

Not the worst looking place to break down in:
