What have you done to your car today?

If you're modifying the suspension to the extent that you need to roll the arches and specifically adjust the camber, I think it most probably will be.

It has Koni coilovers which are decent, Nankang NS2-R's which are also decent, and the only reason for any height and camber adjustment is to get the wheels to fit under the arches a little bit better because at the moment there is a cm or so of tyre poking out. I'm not talking anything major. :)

I'll probably just screw some arches on though, stuff it lol.

To be fair, having good suspension and decent tyres isn’t all it takes to have a decent handling car. Adjusting the camber to the point where the top of the wheel is 1cm further inboard will make a huge difference to the way that the car handles.

I’m happy to be proven wrong, but I’d also be interested to see a printout from an alignment machine afterwards to see where it’s at with relation to camber, castor and toe. As you know they’re incredibly adjustable, so be careful to take the bigger picture into account. Negative camber is fine as long as you have other considerations too.:)

OcUK motors is pretty much "I DONT LIKE IT THEREFORE IT IS WRONG!" :p

Get out of your own backsides and let me do what I want to do with my car and my money. I've already explained numerous times how the handling isn't one of the things which will be compromised, but people seem to like ignoring what I say because they prefer their own interpretation of the situation.
lols

You realise I drive a modified old car, right?

Nothing wrong with modifying cars, provided you're not being a bell about it. Lowering enough that you need to roll arches and adjust the camber (and handling) to fit some not all that special wheels however is just silly.

My car is lower than standard, by a fair bit and has aftermarket wheels on it but I've not compromised the handling to get the car to how it is, in fact it handles a whole lot better than a standard car does due to the modifications I've put on it. All you're doing is making the the same as all other 'individual' scene cars and that's a massive shame because it won't drive well and will look pants.

E: Not that you'll listen anyway BECAUSE UR A H8R or something.

@Acme do what you want man. Though, do sit back and think if it's all worth it. I do feel you could buy an awesome car in the first place that you could mod at a slower pace.

I've been there, cheap cars etc, I don't think it's worth it at all.

So when i bolted aftermarket wheels onto my MX-5 i purchased the lightest weight things i could find (TE-37s), they transformed an already excellent steering car into something next level.

Acme on the other-hand picks what might aswell be four concrete blocks with the wrong offset, scenetastic.

I look forward to the next instalment of car crash TV.
