What have you done to your car today?

Nope the replacement is not V8 and the V8 smoothness and sound will be sorely missed, though I'm sure I will have another at some point. :)

The replacement is from the same year (1998) and has a similar level of power, perhaps a touch more.

Swapped my Toda exhaust for a Fujitsubo one. Much happier now.

The FD2 is now back in the garage and probably won't move until next year.

I'm fairly sure he's talked about a new Volvo in another thread. To replace the other volvo he had for about 2 months :p

I anticipate the new one will be sold in January whilst spending >50% of it's time in bits!

The Celsior replaced the Volvo. I like the Celsior but it's niggles worry me that something expensive is coming. I've already had to do some rewiring.

It's an old once expensive car, of course it's going to have issues, just like everything else you buy.

I mean the sort of issues they don't ordinarily have.

Random wires going dead in the loom causing all kinds of problems. I've had to completely re-wire the alternator circuit and the HVAC circuit with new lives, neutrals, switched lives, relays, fuses etc.
It has a VSC warning which comes on with ignition but self clears before doing anything, I worry that will eventually just stay on. It has randomly died on me completely twice and refused to re-start. Something funky is going on deep in the loom. Like at some point it has had water damage and it is only now haunting it.

Replaced the rear drivers tyre, not very exciting and rather inconvinient thanks to a puncture.

It's only the second time I have had one, and annoyingly I now have 1 brand new trye and 3 with 7k wear on.

You need some spacers, or some nice wheels

You're right! Rear and front could do with extra spacing.. but as it stands the arches are not rolled and that's what needs doing.. also the ssr splits need a refurb as the paint is flaking on the centres.. :) I do like them tho

Yakuza-tastic, that's one cool land yacht!

Thanks man! :)
