What have you done to your car today?

They put the sat nav DVD for my Range Rover in the same place. Was going to change it but couldn't be bothered when I found out where it's located - it's not like I'd ever use it anyway

Lots of sites mentioned that the car needed to be coded for energy management afterwards but I think that's probably overkill and since the car doesn't have start-stop I figured I get away with it. It's been working fine ever since anyway.

Plastidipped my new drag wheels silver, then found a 4 year old Glossifier can I had laying around, sprayed it on... watched all of the plastidip melt lol. I guess there's a shelf life!

Peeled off and respraying again. sigh.

Mine is in the same place, if you move the seat back, you can open the front to use a newer DVD disc :)

I tried that but couldn’t remove the cover under the seat. A lot of people said it was very hard to remove on the older ones and I guess the fact that mine has sat in hot sun all it’s life probably doesn’t do the plastics much good. I could definitely remove it if I tried hard enough but I was worried about breaking it, so just ended up leaving it in the end.

I've not touched mine, it seems to work ok, so I've left it alone :D *touch wood*

Dropped it off for an MOT, thought i was helping by dumping all the crap in the boot into the back seat so he could check the spare.

Turns out they don't check the spare anymore and all i'd done was make it harder as i'd blocked access to the rear seatbelts!

I could have sworn, that if you had one, they would check the tread on it.

Nope, not part of the test if it's not attached to an axle. This is a common misconception, along with reverse lights.

Carrying around a bald tyre in your boot is not against the law or otherwise in contravention of any road traffic regulations :p
