But they'd keep the battery in the same place for all modelsWhich it doesn't.

7 seater so may aswell use space underfloor if it fits.
A key part of design should be ease of maintenance for parts that require it. That is not easy.
They put the sat nav DVD for my Range Rover in the same place. Was going to change it but couldn't be bothered when I found out where it's located - it's not like I'd ever use it anyway
Mine is in the same place, if you move the seat back, you can open the front to use a newer DVD disc![]()
I tried that but couldn’t remove the cover under the seat. A lot of people said it was very hard to remove on the older ones and I guess the fact that mine has sat in hot sun all it’s life probably doesn’t do the plastics much good. I could definitely remove it if I tried hard enough but I was worried about breaking it, so just ended up leaving it in the end.

I thought this too, but only because someone told me as such. It probably got removed from the requirements. Or was never there in the first place.I could have sworn, that if you had one, they would check the tread on it.
I always understood this to be the case too....to the point that i am sure an old wives tale was to leave the spare at home if it wont pass an MOT.I could have sworn, that if you had one, they would check the tread on it.
