Today I took another lap on the non-stop roller-coaster that is my life by...buying a new phone holder.

Bit of a whim purchase, I used to use a Kenu Airframe in the drivers vent (pictured) with a USB cable tucked away leading to a 12v charger in the glove box socket. But its a round vent so I couldn't close it, which meant the phone would heat up in winter while blocking the air from getting to me. It was a bit fiddly to put in/take the phone out sometimes, and it was also a little low to see and use while on the move.

New holder is a screen mount, which I'm not usually keen on...but being magnetic means I can just chuck the phone on it, and it also charges wirelessly without having to plug it in. And the wires are routed behind the dash nicely to the same glove box charger.

Got it at Halfords for £40. For a phone holder. It was on sale, but even so, what the **** am I doing with my life :/

Locked my keys in the boot :(
This was a huge flaw in the old generation s-class. So easy to do as the boot could be unlocked separately to the car on a separate button. Got me into trouble miles from home once and had to be flatbedded home :p

Tracked it for the first time this year (see another thread with an obvious title for a video).

Great fun, but I think I need to adjust my front suspension a little higher, definitely some minor rubbing when hitting some corners fast and hard on the brakes.,

What happened there?!
Stacked it into the garage wall. Most likely had it in R instead of D whilst manoeuvring and then floored it instead of stamping on the brakes.

As an ex-ambulance driver with a taxi licence she hasn’t taken it well..

Anyone know if a possibly dodgy ground wire elsewhere in the engine wiring harness can kick up problems with the electronic throttle? :/
