What have you done to your car today?

Good result in the end for the wee mini :D

I jacked up the Boxster the other year ready to go for MOT and both front springs just snapped as the wheels came off the ground, within 5secs of each other. Pretty funny they could both fail soo close together!

Checking over all the fastenings as got a coolant leak, all done and left to heat up and get the fans kicking in.

Fingers crossed no more puddles dropped:

Made for an OK photo. :D

Triple garages really are the way to go! Just need to get a new plant into that planter ;)

Loving the new toy and the mental colour. I still have fond memories of driving a Caterham for the first time at the OcUK Palmersport day, it was a hilarious bag of fun on a slightly damp, drying circuit!

Sachs machines. Not booked in until the 28th April so a ways to go before they get installed, need to get a 4 wheel alignment done right after as well.

do you have new dust shields and bump stop ... even strut mounts ?
.. just been prepping the bolts with plus gas, for when my rear shocks arrive and will have to get an 18mm socket, not currently in my set.

Factory radiators are *****. Not sure about the Duratec engines, but the radiators used on the Sigma engines tend to fail at the welds. Mine was replaced after a year...

That's them properly on then! :D Next - cutting loads of car away.

Spoke to the supercharger place this morning, too. They might be able to sort something out. Apparently runs very reliably at 120hp which would make this an absolute go kart. That also goes WAAAAAATOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!
Well this is currently sat in the police impound lot, which is ironic considering the speed of the thing :cry::cry: that's a job for thursday then!

MOT'd the Citroen C1, broke half the floor trim trying to get the plastic surround from around the handbrake so I could adjust the handbrake cable, then I snapped the heads off both bolts on the surround putting it back together afterwards. Well worth the time, money, effort & skinned knuckles :(

Passed though!

Is it just me seeing it as a toy car due to the filters?

Damn it, I want that now

Ragged it when an S3 thought it could undertake and get away from me while I was stuck behind people in the wrong lanes. Pulled it in and returned the favour :p. Good spirited fun in the early hours, both gave each other a thumbs up.

Have an intermittent misfire on my V6S F-type. Local JLR dealers can't even look at it for five weeks but have advised to keep off the road to avoid potential serious damage to the catalytic converter. Have a local indy doing a quick diagnosis tomorrow morning but won't be able to do much until April 13th. First car failure for maybe ten years :(

New Bosch wipers front and rear. Previous ones look to be OEM but been on 12-18 months. Had a double code stack on halfords plus free delivery, so replaced them ahead of MOT next week.

researched buying some new sockets ... maybe 12 point sockets are not as bad as I thought (non impact work) if, as this suggests, failure point is more likely to be bolts threaded 'body'

No other dealer nearby with time?

What is it with dealers and lack of time? When I booked by Audi in for a service, only 1 dealer within a 30-mile range (of which there are about 10) had time within 6 weeks!
