What have you done to your car today?

At least you fixed it, most people seem to just stand by the car waiting for the recovery truck these days.
If you get a newer car you could do that too. :D

Oh I've done that once or twice, but both times I knew the issue and I just didn't have the tools with me to fix it. :p

I strongly prefer bandaid fixes and limping a car home if I can to sitting waiting an hour for an RAC wagon!

Took a deposit for the R32 GTR just before Xmas. I was planning on sending it to Mathewsons, used them before quick happily, but tried Facebook.

Had a ton of interest, lots of offers of 20% below value for a deal there and then etc. Loads of questions, quite rightfully, but just ended up telling them all that its for sale until a deposit is taken. Handful of people wanting to come and buy it in person, but I knew some would be booking flights and then it would do. So just told the first guy to call, leave a deposit, you are first, so he did.

Should go Mid Jan all going well. We'll see! Never a fan of Facebook but to be honest Ive used it a few times now without issue.

Annoyingly the bosch aero blades were out of stock, so i have stuck valeo on, have had them befire and they were terrible.
But anything is better than a split blade that goes over the eyeline!

Will change them for decent ones in the summer.

Valeo were the number 1 choice back in the day - not sure what happened to their rep. I fitted Valeo's on my E43 and they are great.

Changed coolant and fitted new Airtec undertray as OEM fell apart (and for better clearance). Cleaned it and sitting just right. Brakes next as I have Ds2500 and new rear OEM disks to put on. just deciding on fronts

Look at that honing. Worth paying the extra

I hate Bosch blades, I think they're rubbish. They don't last 5 minutes before they're juddering and smearing all over the show.

I genuinely prefer the cheap knockoffs you can get on eBay.

Just changed the poxy lawn mower battery in my Megane with a fresh one. I'm not sure why Renault decided to do what they did but 10 minutes later and the battery no longer dies after 2 minutes of the ignition being on.

Removed the cod piece:

Added an integrated cam, taps into the rain sensor wiring so all plug and play, and most importantly, tidy:

Let us know what it's like, I've been eyeing one up for my car.

Today I finally changed my wipers to see if I can cure a really annoying smear right in my eyeline.

I foolishly ordered the 1080p version as was expecting the 4K version as I think that does 60fps, sodding website layout was confusing and thought as the title said 4K, the default selection was 4K. Either way, the 1080p is 30fps and is smooth with decent quality, it's clear enough to read number plates in front of you and it records using H.264. I will likely order the 4K version just because I'm picky like that but have messaged the seller see if they will send me camera section for a lower cost :p

The wireless connection to the phone and app is very stable, the Viidure app itself does the job but some features like timeline (Ring doorbell cam style) is a subscription feature if you want that, otherwise the gallery view will display and stream captures allowing you to download one by one etc.

You can put the same battery from a Sport 300 570a into a Trophy with a DESS its plug n play (Renault tell you no but it works just fine no more DESS battery problems then!).

Funny enough the last Bosch blades I had on the focus lasted five mins. I assumed they were fake

I've only experienced valeo once on my old rover. They were cheap cheap valeo though.hoping these are better.

It was these or an extra 8 quid or so for the Halfords advanced ones.
