I meant "can't see a reason to move on from Rovers"
Last year was a tough year for me. I broke up with my gf and decided to move out of the house that we shared. As a result, I lost the garage and the car has since been moved to a mate's driveway.
Despite being there for 9 months, I have found time to work on it (albeit in bits and bats, hence no real progress) but it is coming along.
I've got some rear callipers on order, along with some driveshafts which means that there's only the ECU mapping and bodywork to complete it
I really doubt the red car will be sold though. It's grown on me and with the green 420 being highly tuned on a standard engine, I am envisaging some form of failure in the future. It's not worth selling the red car for £500 (only for its engine to be ripped out for a ZR) and being car less.
Both will live on
I don't get all the hatred towards Rovers tbh (I get a lot of this at work - mainly from people driving Astra 1.7 CDi and Focus 1.6 TDCI's - yawnfest
) Apart from a few interior rattles, what makes it worse than the majority of other modern junk that's out there these days... oh wait... I forgot... it's because it's a Rover. That explains everything!
