Sun was out proper today so had a decent chance to clean it. First time I've been able to get a clay bar on it & I think it's a case of if rather than when it has even been done before. Managed to get some of the finer swirls out but ideally needs a good machine polish to get it looking spot on. Stupid black cars.
What did you use for lubricant when you clayed your car?
Tears of orphans works well I hear.
I though that would leave a white salty residue?
Precisely why I don't use it. That and the extortionate price. No fancy lube, I've got some Bilt Hamber clay which is perfectly happy with good old water.
