What have you done to your car today?

Drove it 400 miles, averaged 27mpg US (32 UK)
That's sitting in traffic on the interstate, blasting off from lights and running the air on constantly.

Not too bad!

Sun was out proper today so had a decent chance to clean it. First time I've been able to get a clay bar on it & I think it's a case of if rather than when it has even been done before. Managed to get some of the finer swirls out but ideally needs a good machine polish to get it looking spot on. Stupid black cars.

What did you use for lubricant when you clayed your car?

Precisely why I don't use it. That and the extortionate price. No fancy lube, I've got some Bilt Hamber clay which is perfectly happy with good old water.

Another +1 for Bilt Hamber clay, good results and so easy just using warm water for lube.

full service on the Mondeo and fitted a Bilstein B12 kit along with some fresh pads droplinks and a few other odds and sods

RX8 - 3 New tyres, oil and filter change, MOT.

Insignia - oil and filter change.

Mk1 golf 2.0 - Spent yet more money on parts. Started on fitting fuel tank, lines and pump. I can see it finally being started for the first time since my ownership of 2 years soon!

Installed some LED rear indicators. Not quite as bright as the original ones but they should be fine, still plenty visible in daylight, just need to see if they're still bright enough to stand out at night against the rear reds.

Changed the oil and filters. LOOOOONG overdue. Poor car... :p

Must have been 15,000 miles or more since I changed it. I know, I'm a terrible human being.
