Just to confirm then, yes, you were driving it on roads with those tyres...
Tyres had plenty of tread before setting out on a long euro trip

3000 miles and two track visits tend to do that to a tyre?
Unless it was a drift day...no it doesn't.
Those tyres must've been near the legal limit before you even set off.
I don't see your point?
Tyres had plenty of tread before setting out on a long euro trip, obviously they are going to be worn down on the way back and are being changed as soon as they have been delivered?
Someone said you shouldn't drive them on the roads, you replied with 'Who said anything about driving them on the road' and then admitted in your next post that you'd driven them on the road. That was my point.
"Oh come on officer, these tyres had loads of tread when I bought them... well yes, the tread has worn away since..."
I wont lie, I find it worrying you don't see you've done anything wrong and sound like you'll happily run them that low on the next set.
You assume way to much in your posts.
You have to be a complete moron to drive on those tyres or tyres anywhere near that bad. I know me saying this won't change anything because my words are worthless, but seriously? You have to be ****ing kidding! Come on dude...
I read a story on another forum about a guy who was killed in his BMW 330 because he had tyres like that and he lost control and went under a lorry. It only takes one time. He was on his way to visit family. Guess they didn't get to see him that day. Thankfully it was a lorry he hit and not someones car otherwise he could have killed or injured some innocent people.
I hope your licence gets taken away before you hurt anyone. I don't give a stuff about the legalities, I am ranting about the safety. Its not like it is a Peugeot 206 either so you have the potential to be carrying some serious speed when you come unstuck.
I drive a frigging 54HP Polo which is sporting nearly new PremiumContacts and RainSports.
If I need advise how to crash on a country road I'll be sure to give you a call first
Spending a few bob on mine this next couple of weeks, fresh new number plates, new Ford centre caps (35 quid for some bits of plastic!), front tyres and it's in the bodyshop from Sunday for a near on full hit and wheel refurb/repaint also.
