What have you done to your car today?

Have you guys never heard of MS Visio? :p

Not everyone wants to pay money to do a random quick diagram when they can use free online tools?

Anyway, Acme that final drawing looks good. I take it the Polo 6n lights aren't H4 fitment? Else you could just buy this loom and save the hassle of making one (does take a couple weeks to arrive mind).

These bulbs are H1's (main beams are H1, dipped beam are H7). And my polo is a very early 9N rather than a 6N. :D

Also I did actually do that diagram in Photoshop. With the paint tool. :p

Pulled the fan/coupling out of the 318IS. Pulled out the metal strip of the viscous fan on the, hoping it will sort the temp rising when sat in traffic. If it does, then I will order a new one, but only if the always on fan annoys me :D

All these modern Polos are the same to me. :p No point in that look for you then really as you'd have to remove the H4 plugs etc. might as well just make your own then.
I did the diagrams using online systems, eaiser to do that.

E: As for that e36, just fit a new viscous unit, they are cheap enough and won't knacker the engine from a dodgy bodge.

Had the biggest storm and managed to leave my window open an inch... cue a puddle under the passenger seat. Towel under the seat overnight and left windows and sunroof open today, should be dry in no time...

Annoyed.

Got my car taxed and insured yesterday. Went with Flux in the end as they came out best with all mods declared. Then went out for a drive in it for the first time in 3 months.. my god, I totally forgot how quick it was. I'd gotten so used to it driving it daily. It's absolutely nuts, I'm in love again :D

Took delivery of this today tho...

Well I originally insured it at 21 for £815, that was with 200BHP though, it's a lot higher now. The year before that at 20, I paid about the same on a standard 1.6 though!

Yeah it does seem to drop at 20, then apparently again at 25. I have 6 years NCB now too. Had to insure my other astra with 0 NCB so that was £750-odd! :( It's still cheaper to run 2 cars though, with the fuel savings :p
