What have you done to your car today?

Your new signature is throwing me off, I've grown used to your wood panelling sig. :p

It isn't 100% flush but it is close enough, I found it providing more juice than your regular iPhone charger but not as fast as the iPad charger.

Funnily enough, I've just fitted one of those converters in the fuse box down below my steering wheel, as I tend to have my phone in a holder on the right hand air vent.

Didn't fancy trailing cables across from the centre console, so fitted the converter using a fuse tap, then bought some small sticky clips to hold a USB-C cable in place, close to hand so I can plug it into the phone when I get into the car. Nice and discreet and works quite well, and I still have that AUKEY in my centre console 12v socket in case anything else needs charging :)

That require a bit more work, cable placement, instead of just plug it in. The idea is to have a couple of USB sockets for charging when i need it and this does the trick just fine seeing never never use the lighter for anything else.

My lighter socket is placed just in the right place that everytime you change gear you knock whatevers plugged in.

Edit: I just crimped a pair of spare connectors onto the wires for the adapter which plugged straight into the harness for the lighter socket

I was painting some borders in my bathroom and leaned on my key fob's "open" button which was in my pocket for a few seconds which unlocked the car out on the street and opened the windows.

So I learnt a new function as I was unaware of this capability at the time :D

Changing into 5th with the humungous adapter my sat-nav has plugged in is... Interesting. :p

Anyway, I fitted my new window regulator to the Skoda and put the door back together. One screw left over, of course. :D

Weight saving!

Changed the spark plugs on my 750i, did both the PCV valves too.
Wow, the back two plugs are a real pain, and took some figuring out to get right and make sure I had the correct access. Ended up changing extentions, universal joints and adaptors all the way through to get them done. Thankfully the other 6 were all very simple. Still, what I thought would be a 1 hour job became 3 hours. With 2 of those on the back plugs alone!

Just to reset the message on the computer and it's done :D

Going back out later after the kids are in bed to do a weeping o-ring on the lower coolant temp sensor. (2 min job) then change the angel eye bulb's, which apparently means taking off the bumper cover :(

Bah, just scuffed the under side of the rear bumper, grass verge too low for parking sensors and didn't see it in the dark. Too low for parking sensors but just high enough to scuff my car. Crap.

Silver lining is so low it's on the underside and can't see it but I can feel it with my fingers.

CARLESS?!

Can't think of anything worse! :p

Still got a work van and can use the girlfriends car when I need to. Drove the Honda once a week and it was just a waste really.

In truth I've gone off cars lately as there's more important stuff for me to focus on so couldn't give a toss what I'm driving at the moment.

Sorry to hear this. Motors will be welcoming you back with open arms when the passion is re-ignited.

not one of those through the wheel arch jobs? if so have fun with that, all i can say is never again

Yeah that was a pain on my E90. Luckily one of them I could do through the engine bay, but for the other side I had to take the wheel and wheel arch lining off to get to it. Took under an hour all in all but still a pain.

yeah, was fitting led's and routing the boxes was a pita, especially after there was a clicking noise coming from the auto levelers so had to pull the whole lot out (they had power boxes that we thought were catching) only to find out that it was a normal noise :D
