Hope you didn't hurt yourself? Can you bend it back into shape OK? :)

Bad bruising on my back and arm, luckily fell on my side which hadn't dislocated a shoulder recently :p Having a good run of it!

Not assessed the damage fully but have bent it back into shape, just need to make sure it's not been stretched which I'll do when my gearbox oil turns up :)
 
Going to have to get used*to your avatar, keeps throwing me off at the moment.

And so soooo flush, similar to the one I have in mine.
 
It's not all good news though, my driver's side front brake was sticking again today, so definitely a caliper replacement needed.

Luckily I found a Big Red refurbed pair with new seals/pistons/carries/pins for £205, so promptly ordered them. Just in time for service and MOT on Monday.

Fitted some Osram Nightbreakers earlier today to my Corsa.

I don't know if it's old bulbs but they seem to always be so dim on the Corsa B, barely lighting up much of the road unless I use full beam.

I'll go for a drive tonight to see how they are on the poorly lit motorway stretches and country lanes nearby
 
Got a puncture, a screw somehow made its way into my tyre. :(


Anyway, fortunately I was able to inflate it enough for the short drive home, but I need to change it for the spare. Having never had to change a tyre before, is it worth me 'testing' the wheel nuts before I jack the car up to see if I can actually get the wheel off, or will it only be doable once it's off the ground?
 
Loosen off the wheel nuts before you jack the car up. Much more difficult and more dangerous to try to undo those while it's jacked up so always good to do that while it's on the ground then fully undo them when it's jacked up as it will require much less force.
