what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

I wouldn't worry about that so much - converting existing stuff to flac won't fix your problems :P

Just make sure your mp3s are 192kbps or higher and get something better than a phone to play them from hehe

looks like I'm gonna have to convert everything to FLAC these really show up the difference :( :p

Do what I I'd, buy the CDs second hand on amazon and rip them to flac/alac :)
For my old music tastes I was getting an album for about £1.30 delivered!!

My stable is finally complete again. Think I'm gonna get out of the audio game for a while now.

If I'm lucky my brand spanking new T1s should arrive this week... If I'm unlucky then it's next week :(

Panasonic RP-HTF600 or however the letters are arranged. I love mine, best headphones for probably up to 150 quid, and you can get them for 40 :D

You and some others will say they are, a lot of others will say otherwise. Who is correct?

It's bold to claim they are better than most headphones up to £150, when opinions vary so much.

They are the best headphones I have tried up to £2500....

....they are of course the only headphones I have tried :D

I've used earphones for years but I've got a gammy ear now so can't use that style anymore. These HTF600's are fine for my uses, I'm no audiophile so quite happy with my £30 purchase.

Ignorance is bliss as they say so if you're happy with the way they sound then don't try anything expensive! You'll only end up wanting them lol

I have..

Creative Fatility Headphones
Beats By Dre Solo HD's
Sennheiser HD202's
JVC Gummy's for whenever i cant be bothered

Rate my Sennheiser's highest

My Essence STX and SH 360's arrived today, will put them in later any settings or drivers i should be aware of?

For gaming you want the Xonar settings to be:

Headphones
8 Channels
DH-1 or DH-2 enabled (find what you prefer, DH-3 is too spaced out IMO)

Then in-game set your audio settings to 7.1 (not stereo or headphones).

Currently on the panasonic ones everyone was raving about a while back, not as good as sennheiser HD555s imo but at half the price i'm not complaining.

Would still be using my HD555s if they hadnt broke :( ... i say broke, i mean if they hadn't been run over by my chair.
