What do you guys think of these headphones before i hit the order button, JVC HA-SZ2000-E?

Did you get these in the end...what are they like?

They're custom made ones I bought from an eBay seller ages ago, were some £30 iirc, I believe the cable itself is otherwise known as "Zees Audio". There' is not much difference in SQ though, I bought it mainly for the integrated ear loop retainer as I hate the slip on ones and the cable is thinner so less dangly in use.

Cheers. The only thing i don't like is the HP Jack...looks overly bulky. Do the ear loops help a lot?

Yeah the loops help, the IE80 loops are attachment type and are too thick to be useful and can work loose, the integrated ones on the custom cable are better and are shaped to hug the back of the ear.

The plug itself is quite bulky, it's thicker than my phone :D

Find the Sony h3 sound great with the fiio X1/e11k combo. Did not really get on with the standard tips but the Comply T-200 really do make them sound great, also helps a lot keeping them stuck in your ear. If you can get over the odd design they really do sound fantastic. They get the most sound time over my Sennheiser Momentum on ear or Philips x1.

Very tempted with the z5

I own Creative Aurvana Live! Bought them for around £50 and they are the best headphones I ever owned. Before them I had the Sennheiser HD598 which cost 3 times more and were the dullest, most boring headphones I ever owned. Massive contrast to the energetic sounding Aurvana.

Audio Technica ATH-M50 with the coiled cable. Plenty good enough for my needs. I keep meaning to look into headphone amps for it, but I'm not sure I even need that.

I can now say I own some Philips fidelio X2 - arrived today, they sound good already!

I also have some Sennheiser HD515 and about 300 pairs of apple ear buds...

Sennheiser HD595 had it for a few years now and always been good. My brother got my step dad to buy him a pair, but he accidently bought 2 pairs, so I got mine for free :D Not sure how good they are these days, but very happy with them
