What is in my garden?

I was discussing this thread with a friend today, he thinks it's quite likely it's a hedgehog. I'll direct him to the audio file to see what he makes of it (he appears to have experience with the creatures in his garden). Personally I still think it's a big cat...

Bah don't be such a girl. Get your wellies/boots on and go find out what it is. I would... as long as it didn't mess up my hair. I mean... grrr I am man, hear me roar.
 
That actually made me jump slightly! :eek:

Having said that I am willing to bet when you eventually see it it'll be around 9 inches long and covered in spikes, it sounds just like a Hedgehog. ;)

EDIT: Sounds a bit like
as an example.

I dont think it could be a hedgehog, as I can hear it as soon as I get outside. The tree line is about 30-40 ft from my door

I will take a look again in daylight

shouting, hand clapping etc and it stops for a sec then starts again. It is louder than the recording suggests
 
i'm sure you can buy a night vision scope in your local town....then get a gun and maybe some small explosives and you're set :D;)
 
Ok well then get a DSLR and a large flash. Then you'll see for a split second what's going to be killing when you hear the noise suddenly getting louder. ;)

Just make sure you write a note letting the police know to upload the image here after...
