What is the creepiest thing to have ever happened to you?

Our house is old, creaks and has a history of deathly ghost stories, none of which I believed.
That changed.
One dark winter night, sitting in the house by myself, I heard a particular noise emitting from the downstairs lavatory, sounded like a low electromagnetic noise with a high frequency, thought it was my ears so I just ignored it.
The second night, things got weirder , I kept hearing footsteps down stairs, starting at the front door and moving quickly into the kitchen where it stopped.
My imagination? Of course it was. Or so I thought.
The 3rd night was the creepiest by far, I was just chilling in the house and had ordered a dominos, the door bell rang and then a massive bang on the door.
the inner fattie in me jumped with joy as I went down to open the door,
No one was there, no car, no nothing.
Suddenly! every door in the house slammed shut along with an almighty scream!
I **** myself , I immediately phoned my parents to told me I was going to move out with my auntie and uncle in bel air.

Sorry about the almighty thread revival but it is a good thread so thought i'd share the below with lots more weird stories.
My life is pretty boring so don't have anything to share my self

Story 1.
Me and some friends did a sayonce once. Got to the part about contacting the dead
"If you are here Spirit, give us a sign..."
Then the phone rang to tell us our food delivery was on its way.....
Turns out the ghosts like Chinese food too
Story 2.
Last year my parents went away on holiday for a whole week, I was left on my own in the house, told me girlfriend to come over NOT because I'm afraid of the dark, but because it's nice to have time alone with her, so she came round, we got chinese food, watched films all night etc.. etc...
It's 2am, we're both asleep in bed, suddenly the burglar alarm goes off (its never set overnight because just getting up to go to the toilet would set it off) I hit the roof, grab my dads fishing knife (I always sleep with it in my room when they're away) cautiously go downstairs, turn off the alarm, put all the lights on in the house and do a sweep on the whole house, garden included and found nothing.
See, ghosts DO like Chinese food
I HATE YOU! proper crapped myself!
Story 3.
My dog wakes up randomly in the middle of the night barking, I think she has nightmares or something, every single time it scares the crap out of me.
Story 4.
Other day I was on my way to work, it's 5am, I leave the house, jump in my car, turn the lights and reverse off the drive. As I turn the car around the lights shine at the field at the bottom of the road. The light catches something in the field.......
At first my mind goes "It's someone walking their dog, no wait.... nobody on this streets gets up before me...."
"Maybe it's a cow or a horse.... as the farmer sometimes puts them in that field......"
I drive closer to the gate.....put my main beams on, expecting to see Jason Voorhees or Michael staring back at me.....
It was a cat sat on the fence
Story 5.
I was up late one night, watching TV (porn actually) started to rub one out, suddenly there was a loud knock on the livingroom window, it was a (pretty hot) girl who lived on our street. Scared me so much I actually finished lol
To this day we both just say "that time you scared me when I was 'watching TV' " What I wanted to ask her was A) Did she like what she saw and B) How long had she been standing there
Crop circles mate, every Ouija board ever done has had a hoaxer in the group fact.

Was filming my youngest boy to send to his grandparents and during the 2 minute clip those 'white orbs' flew out from behind his back. This was no small, or un-noticable orb either.

As some of you may know I work security for a big call centre. Now I've worked here for about 6+ months. When I arrived I got all the usual "This place is haunted crap" which I put down to "lets scare the new guy". So I shrugged it off.
Anyway, as part of the training we had to do a few night shifts. Now I was told stories about a ghostly figure seen and heard around the building but again shrugged it off.
So my first night shift came and I set up my laptop to watch a few films, hours passed, I did my patrols and calls to the office to make sure I was still alive, then around midnight-ish I heard the sound of what I thought was kids playing.
The call centre is massive, with only one entrance and cameras covering the whole place, so I know after 11pm when all the staff leave, I was the only person in the entire place.
I decided not to investigate until the next patrol, by which point the noise had stopped. I checked the whole place, nothing.
The next day my manager came in, knowing it was my first night shift by myself and asked if I'd seen the women on the second floor, I said no but I had heard the kids playing, he seemed well aware of the kids and proceeded to tell me all about the stuff he heard when he used to work nights at the call centre.
Not very scary, but it scared the hell out of me

When I worked worked nights people mentioned that one of the buildings was haunted by a grey lady.
Occasionally I would have to enter a couple of the external buildings at pretty much any time in the night/morning. I always looked about but never saw a thing.
About the strangest it got was when there was a storm and there was a very surreal feeling about the place, doors were swinging open and banging etc but that was about it.i once played a hell of a load pokemon yellow, maybe like 8hrs straight, then that night as i was going to bed i went to shut my curtains (I have one big window, It was dark) i could see Giovanni, the eight gym leader (head of team rocket) in the reflection standing in my room, anyway, scared the **** out of me, never looked out that window when it was dark again...

When I was a kid (aged about 6) went bed, lay there and then turned round to see the figure/silouette of a man standing next to the bed. In fear I punched out at it before ducking under the covers for 30 mins before showing my face to see nothing was there.
Same room a couple of years later. Went bed and fell asleep only to be woken by something which pulled the duvet straight off me and dropped it back over me from a height of four foot. Nothing in the room except me
