What "man jobs" have you done today?

Built a raised pond but will be buying an impact driver soon. My current combi drill struggled to fully drive these screws in although they were 7" and 15" long.

You defiantly want an impact driver, you will quickly kill that combi driving them in, used to fire those in all day everyday doing barn conversions and wouldn't want to do it without one!

Evicted some lodgers

Was hanging a Mirror then had a moment where I thought I'd drilled holes in the completely wrong place. Proceeded to ask my girlfriend to leave the room because I was gonna throw a little wobbler.

Gathered my composure, went on got Mirror from hallway, offered it to wall, screws were in perfect place, job done. Sigh of relief.

Sometimes I dont think I have the mental stability for drilling holes in walls and hanging furnishings lol.

@Stan_Lite

Do you find any particular negatives for using PET rather than glass bottles?

I've always used bottles, but with bigger and bigger batches PET might be easier..

I'm not convinced the lids on some of them sealed properly. Some bottles have decent carbonation and some are poor. I don't think I'll be using them again. If I do bottle any more, it'll be glass bottles. It was a worthwhile experiment - cheaper and easier to work with but not as good imo.

Took crap to the tip.
Bought a vernier calliper for sorting out some astro stuff.
Started painting the other bits of fence but it's so hot it feels like I'm burning with factor 50 on.. uncomfortable. Will continue tomorrow.

Revamped the old log store - Taken off the plastic sheet roof and put a permanent one up - had everything except roofing felt.

Gave it a good sweep out and tidied up a bit - Just need some more logs now.

They should span multiple beams not along the length of one.

Edit*

It's my eyes looked closer at the pic and I see you had them the right way lol. :)
