What "man jobs" have you done today?

Concreted in a gate post for the latch side of my gate. A bit disappointed as we got some of their 90mm sq x 1.7m posts and they were good quality treated redwood, so i ordered one in 2.4m and its some crappy treated spruce. Meh, it was only £11 plus vat with my discount so if it rots i'll just replace it.

Also knocked up a quick top cap for the post as the ones at the timber place were rubbish 15mm thick with a slight bevel.

Yesterday was more painting and today wired up a couple of remaining rooms with cat5 connectivity and wall mounted a tv/sound bar.

Now that's what I call minimalistic-- Nice.

Took three fence panels out - wire brushed them then sprayed with good moss killer - two more to do then give moss killer a week to work then paint green.

Hate fences.

Thanks, yes it's a little bare in there at the mo, need to add a sofa but have to get the skirt board painted first. Doesn't have to be too cosy though as this is a second living area (with the other end of the room being a dining area).

That radiator is just weird. :)
A little different maybe, have a pair of them in this room. Vertical rads are handy as they give you so much more space and options for positioning furniture.

Don't lie :p

I didn't realise the dawg was there. Ha!

Also to the guys above mentioning about digging up a 'shrub'. I also started doing the same the weekend just gone, took a few hours to do and finally unroofed the thing today. I'm sure it's broken my shovel too! Absolute nightmare to get out. Pics don't do it justice size wise! Extremely relieved to get it out, was damn heavy too!

Going to cement the space left and get a summer house aka drinking shed.

Tip run.

Nothing more manly than putting the rear seats down flat to turn car into an estate/combo van size mobile skip and jam packing it with junk for the HWRC.

Fairly productive coupe of days, like LeeUK I also did a tip run, had a hire van and managed to get rid of a load of old furniture and a mountain of cardboard packaging (new furniture). Van was also used to pick up new sofa:-

Also finally finished painting the walls of my lads room after a stupid amount of coats (not impressed with Dulux trade at all, will not be using again). Just gloss on the skirting boards to go and I think that's it done.
