What "man jobs" have you done today?

Cleared out the loft, half the garage and half of the greenhouse.

Need to redo the pointing and repair some blocks in the greenhouse and go through my dads old tools in the garage. Don't think I'll ever use any of them but they look too good to throw out.

Built the bbq gazebo/shelter that arrived today. Such a **** ache as instructions were terrible and the metal framing was tight and too many slight bends or misalignments that made the poly roof panels so annoying to get in. But it’s done

Finished off the oak cladding on my stairs, just going to buy a corner block on the top section which looks slightly unfinished

Also had my first try of my new nail gun which was fun, never used one before but wish I'd bought earlier for skirting jobs..

Didn't quite fit so jigsawed the trim around the stair carpet, some aren't as neat as this!

Front edges I only did with clamps rather than nails so there is no holes

Spent the weekend making a console table for the hall. Been looking a ones in the shops for ages, but nothing quite right so decided to make my own.

Comprehensive plans are a must !

Log Store Day #4

Got the tile battens on, much faffing and working out and swearing. Was also two lengths short so made them up from off cuts ...

Then I've got as many tiles on as I can. I could have sworn I had an angle grinder but I can't find it anywhere.

Waiting on an Amazon delivery of a new cheaper one for the tile cuts. I'll then expect to find my old one approximately 30 seconds after I finish exactly where I've been looking for it all week .....

Really pleased with it so far :D

I'm expecting lots of swearing and broken tiles before I finish and then need a good tidy in the area and cut / split / stack the logs I've built it for .....

Decided to do some extra work in the garden sooner than planned so have ordered a load more MOT and Sharp Sand. Took a while to get a decision from the boss regarding what we are actually doing, cant keep the mixer indefinitely so need to decide.. probably could have bought a mixer for less.
