What "man jobs" have you done today?

Cleared out the garden of all sorts of remnants, took 5 trips to the dump!

- Branches/twigs/conifers (a lot of it)
- Skirting boards
- doors

Heaps today. Absolutely knackered.

Drywall'd the whole double garage (to be fair, half of it was done already), taped and plastered joins.
Install new set of french doors
Replaced a row of fence palings
Installed a new sensor light
Sanded down and undercoated 3 doors
Started ripping up the old decking, ready for new installation tomorrow.

Weeded side boarder, cut the concrete block used to test concrete strength and stacked up the junk ready to take to the tip. Next up is moving the rose bush and replanting the sunflower seedlings

Installed a replacement shower after my trusty Triton T80XR died on me on Friday. Bought a Triton T80 Easi-Fit and it lived up to it's name. I spent longer getting my tools together than fitting it. Marvellous.

Blown element?

No idea. To be honest, looking at the cost of replacement parts, the age of the unit (a minimum of 5 years), the need to actually have a working shower in house of four people and the cost of the replacements (£102 delivered), I just replaced the whole thing. It was a breeze and works a treat.

Yesterday: Apart from being a taxi driver for my wife's cousins and children, I did manage to mow the front lawn, cut out all the weeds lining the driveway, chisel some brick from the inside of the fireplace so that I can fit an insert, chisel off some of the render that goes above the damp-proofing around our house so that I can proceed with cavity wall insulation.

Today: Finish off chiselling the render and mow the back garden lawn. Maybe try and remove a tree stump.
