What "man jobs" have you done today?

Finally found the time to install and setup CCTV camera #3. I had to spend £40 on an extra license (2 are free) for my Synology NAS though. A rip off, but I decided my best option.

Started my tree removal. Only to find it was harbouring swarms of Stag Beetles. Found about 20 in total. Had to go very carefully so that I didn't kill the buggers. Trying to dig out a tree with a stick is really hard work.

Not today but Saturday had a maintenance day at the scout group I'm a leader at.

Replaced the car park floodlights with nice shiny new ones.

Removed the old rusty body from our old Sankey trailer, ready for tidying up the chassis then new body! New body is the tub from a 110 defender pick up, should look epic :D

Need something to cover a wall.. may finish sometime this year..

:) I'll be a beached boat, with seaside scene after a storm.

Took delivery of a big fridge freezer and now have to work out how to remove the polystyrene packaging that is under it, by myself...

Figuring out what to do with this? :o

It is the passage area between the kitchen and bathroom.

Fixed the lawnmower (Deadman's Cable stretched), only for the Pull cord to then snap mid cutting the grass - tempted to buy a new lawnmower, but in some ways I enjoy fixing it :)

Any idea where the damp came from? I'd wash it down with sugar soap then get it properly dried out.

No sure where it came from but there was a built in cupboard hiding it all. Skirting boards were all rotted and the artex is all damp/crumbling but the plaster underneath seems fine.

Man jobs... yesterday... more digging, had a BBQ, mowed the grass.

Today, more digging, maybe get the hedge trimmer out and take back the bushes, maybe strip the paint off the porch, maybe finish chiseling off the external render.
