What PC games are you playing?

Had a crack at Sailwind (early access on Steam), currently at v0.19 or thereabouts.

Well it's okay and unlike Sailaway which I've refunded twice, it does give some purpose with the trading.
However it's a typical Unity game, mediocre graphics and while the sailing mechanics are good, there is no way to navigate other than by dead reckoning or for longer voyages quadrant etc.
In addition to navigating you need to manage your survival including food, drink and sleeping. The latter usually ends up with you falling overboard when you wake up in the pitch black of night and not being able to find the ship again - game over.

It has potential but needs a lot of work and refinement especially on the graphics. 4/10 at present.

Started Elden Ring a couple of weeks back, absolutely amazing 21hrs in so far, just done Godrick the grafted, very punishing gameplay but also very entertaining, spend far too much time wandering.

Still playing "Star Valour".

It's a game I cannot explain well when people have asked "What's it like ?" "What do you do in it ?" I can't really explain any of it to make it sound as good as it is and I absolutely love it.

So in depth, so clever and so bloody well made. To think that one guy made it is incredible.

Think I've put in about 70hours in around 2 weeks, which is an awful lot for me :D

Tinykin on Game Pass.

Never owned a Nintendo console so I'll take any Pikmin clones that come to PC with great enthusiasm. The last one (The Wild At Heart) was very good and having played the first fifteen minutes of Tinykin, loving it already. :D

Haven't been able to get into much recently. Kind of stalled on Expeditions Rome, found Subnautica Below Zero a bit too repetitive after finishing (and loving) the first one, but then I noticed Immortals: Fenyx Rising crop up on Gamepass and had great fun for a couple of hours with that one.

Quake 4 on GamePass is actually a better game than most critics think.

Besides the 62FPS cap making mouse movement feel really off as a high-refresh user.
OBS is weird, don't capture explosive effects.. had issues with Quake 3 using it too below.

Modern Warfare 2019. Still my go-to game for some PvP action (not Warzone)

I've done basically all there is to do on the game so now I'm just messing around with guns and making silly builds and having fun. Also trying to get a few guns in Obsidian just for the hell of it, it is a bit of a grind though.

@Tired9

Some nice footage there of Quake 4 though as you say, it's a bit odd that the explosions aren't captured properly.
Is that the original campaign? It's been so long since I've played Quake 4 that I can't recall some of it.

I might have to look into Game Pass, never even considered it before.

If you're sensible and have a VPN you can get game pass for very cheap. I paid ~£60 for 3 years worth of subscription

I wish I could get along with CyberPunk. I've tried a few times now but it's just not for me. The last time I tried I saw someone T-Pose and grind up a rail and switched it off

Grand Theft Auto 5, started playing not long ago good game but i would'nt pay £24 for the game. I would recommend buying it when its discounted at least half price which happens often. Its a life of crime but in a game, you do missions and setup heists, rob banks, buy expensive cars/stuff, with the good graphics it can be and look abit messy depending on how you play.
Go to Epicgames for specs.

After finally getting a new laptop I'm playing half life 2, assassins creed origins, and starcraft 2. After not gaming so almost 1 year there are a few games I'm dying to play and push my new laptop as its high spec I'm looking forward to playing the likes of cyberpunk and red dead redemption 2
