What time do you turn up for work?

Anywhere between 45 mins and 0 mins early depending on traffic. If there's an accident it puts hours on the journey, so I try to spot those and not bother travelling.

Currently we have one out of the two car share spaces, so we get to work depending on traffic.

We usually get to the office between 5-10 minutes before 9am, so enough time to grab a brew or whatever. As soon as that clock strikes 5 we're outta there!

I get picked up, so normally just before/just on time/or late.

I obviously then spend half hour making a brew before starting work...

Work how ever long it takes the job to be done.

Strickly speaking it's 9 to 5.30.

I get in about 9.15 - 9.20 more than I would like to admit but i'll usually stay to about 6.30 - 7 just as often too.

Flexible working hours. As long as I do my 37.5hrs a week my boss doesn't care.
We do have core hours 9.30-12.00 and 14.00-16.00 when we should be at our desks but as above as long as the job gets done nobody cares if you start late/ finish early from time to time.
Couple of years ago I got in around lunch time cos I switched my alarm off and woke up at 11. My boss just laughed at me when I told him why I was late.

Don't think I could ever work fixed hours. So much unnecessary stress making sure you're at your desk on time.

No start or end time, 38 hours per week or more should i choose.

Usually in from 7:45 / 8am till 4:15 / 4:30pm, all depends what i feel like doing etc.

Get up at 6:20
Out of the house by 6:35
Arrive at work 6:50 - 7:00 and start straight to work.
I officially start at 8:00am
I spend the time catching up emails from the night before and answering anything that has come in during the night.

I leave around 4:30pm.

Up at 5.30am

Out of the house by 5.50-6.00am
46 mile commute, takes about 1hr 10m by car
Arrive around 7.00am, get changed and start working.
Actual working hours are 7.30am-4.30pm

In reality I leave at 6am and get home just after 6pm, with a 1pm finish one day a week :)

My old job was call centre stuff. Had to be on your desk 1min before the beginning of the hour ready to dial in to take calls.

couldnt handle that fixed start time any more.

Man that's not a Work/Life balance I'd want to experience.

I know I'm not enjoying it at present.

This is just a temporary thing until the GF get's her life sorted (debts, no car), when it's warmer she can get the bus or train.

Usually I work a 8 hr day, I love those 7-3 shifts! Good thing is work is a 10 minute trip for me.

technically i think i'm supposed to be 8.30-5.00 but i tend to get in at 8.45 depending on the buses - sometimes earlier, usually later (9ish).

leave at 4 on friday to meet people in the pub by 5 - still haven't told anyone i'm doing this but i'm the boss at this site so too bad ;)

I start at 7am but get in when the building opens at 6:30am. I like to have a cup of tea and browse the internet before I start.

I have no defined contractual hours, but the office hours are 9 to 5.30 and so I normally cover most of those to give them support. I normally arrive at 7.30 because I like to get ahead on any relevant industry news, and also because the school run traffic goes mental shortly after that.

I'll leave at 6 pm on a good day.

Whenever I want, as long as I am at my unit 9-4.30 (my official opening hours) and 9-1 on a sat.

The plus side of running your own business :D. In fact, I gave my only employee a key so she could come and go as she pleases. As long as the work is done, I am happy. If that means I have to work 16 hour days, then so be it.
